Next Week In M3...

Happy Friday and Happy Field Day! We've had a great day so far! Thank you so much to all who have come to help out so far today. We're inside cooling down and eating lunch now and then we'll move onto the main event- TUG OF WAR!

Reminders & Announcements:

- With the end of the year coming up I will submit our next Scholastic book order on  May 10th so I can be sure they'll arrive before the last day

- Please make note that we will have our 2nd-grade awards day on May 17th. It will likely start around 10am. More to come on this as we get closer
- Please remember that your child's snack cannot contain any kind of nuts
- Our Boosterthon Fun Run is next Thursday! Second grade is scheduled to run at 9am. I will let you all know if that changes.
- Monday is I for Inside Out day- send the kiddos with their clothes inside out

What we're learning:

Math: 3-digit addition & subtraction + explaining our answers 

Reading: comparing and contrasting 

Writing: narrative

Grammar: Context clues  

Phonics: prefix re-  

Content: life cycles 

Next Week In M3...

Shoutout to the kiddos and chaperones for being awesome today at Legoland! I am so very proud of the kids and so grateful for the chaperones.

Monday will be D for Dance Party! No need to bring or wear anything special. We'll just enjoy a fun dance party together!

- Next Friday is our Legoland field trip, and we are so excited! If you send lunch with your kiddo, please send it in a paper bag. We try to take things that can be thrown away on field trips to help us avoid losing things.
