Reminders & Announcements:
- There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday for MLK Day
- I will submit our next Scholastic book order on January 31st

- Next Thursday the 24th is STEM Night at the K-1 campus from 6pm-8:30pm
- Clubs are starting next week. Please remember to send in a note if your child is joining a club to let me know. Please also let me know if they will be car or ASP after their club
What we're learning:
Math- Mentally add/subtract 10 and 100
Reading- Compare and contrast two or more versions of the same story
Grammar- Shades of meaning
Phonics- Consonant + le, al, or el (ie: circle, paddle, medal, kernel)
Writing- The Best Part Of Me opinion
Content- Jackie Robinson
Spelling- We will begin using number words for our spelling tests
